We all like and want it. In fact, there was so much interest in it that I actually wrote a blog post about it, listing 40 companies that combined give away over $4000 for free.

Today, I am going to share something with you that I came across a few weeks ago on the internet.

Apparently, there is a website that gives people a $2 bill for free.

Why would anyone do this?

Well, as always, there is a catch…

In this case the catch is that in order to get you free 2 dollar bill, you have to agree to receive up to 8 text messages a month, however, you can cancel that any time you wish.

I am sure by now you have realized how this company can afford to giveaway $2 bills.

If not, here is the concept… those text messages they send are basically ads from their advertisers. They get paid from their advertisers to send text ads to you, and in return, they share some of that money, in this case a brand new shiny $2 bill, with you.

The concept is nothing new. Hundreds of companies do this every day.

I personally haven’t used this site yet, so I don’t know if they actually pay or not. But based on my experience with similar sites, I am almost certain they do pay.
